"Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday and is currently working from home, a Fed spokesperson said in an emailed statement.

"Chair Powell tested positive for COVID-19 late yesterday and is experiencing symptoms." He is working from home and staying away from others, the statement said, as per guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The announcement follows a trip to Europe this week in which Powell, 71, appeared on Tuesday on stage at an event with Dutch central bank president Klaas Knot in Amsterdam.

Powell last tested positive for COVID in January 2023.

There was little reaction in financial markets after the Fed's announcement of Powell's latest COVID-19 infection. The next scheduled Fed policy meeting is not until June 11-12.

happy praising the Lord! That evening he wasnt talking or walking right My sister Becky took him to hospital. They said cancer moved to his brain. I know the devil was trying to steal our joy &hope. David's now in Cleveland Clinic. They began Whole Brain Radiation. Just this last Monday night, we got news the radiation's not working They give David about a week. I rebuke satan for this news I know he's trying to take our hope! I believe by God's grace David's testimony is what many family members & those he daily is in contact will be the catalyst needed for them to accept salvation or at least begin seeking to form a relationship with Christ. Israeli President Isaac Herzog's attendance at the opening of a Holocaust museum in Amsterdam has sparked protests over Israel's military operations in Gaza.

Activists calling for a ceasefire gathered in a square near the National Holocaust Museum.

Signs were seen reading "Jews against genocide", and "The grandchild of a holocaust survivor says: Stop Gaza Holocaust."

I have suffered much; preserve my life, Lord, according to your word.

Most have heard the old native American story of the two wolves. The good and the evil wolf...which one you feed. So what do they eat? You know they have very different diets right? The evil wolf eats lies, hate, drugs, alcohol, conquests, money, fame, greed, coveting, murder and ignorance. But these things insatiable. They cannot fill the hunger for more. Quite like a cheese puff, when you break it down, you are left with a palm covering of dust. There is no substance or core to these pursuits. They ultimately lead to a need for more and more. The good wolf eats love, hope, faith, nurturing, compassion, fellowship, trust, and understanding. These things flow in abundance to those willing to receive. In fact they can overflow into others. Changing the lone wolf into a pack. Reality is shaped by consciousness. Make a conscious effort to consider this in all decisions, and you will be well served.
