Is it worth it to be unforgiving, uncaring and selfish?
The time is now to follow Jesus, he is coming back soon.
We have his word on it.

Jesus spoke these words before he was sacrificed for the sins of this world. What does it mean to deny your self? Just that, not be concerned about the things of the world. Like how many things can you get or how much money do you have. These things will take care of themselves if you learn to put God first. Daily!!! Seek his way to live in this world. What can any man add to his life? How many days can he extend his life? Weather you admit it or not God is real. And he loves you. This is why we all must deny our self and follow after Jesus. He left us a help and guide in the Holy Spirit; all we have to do is ask. As the word says “we have not because we ask not.” There is one catch, we can’t ask for selfish reasons. We must have a concern for the well being of others, especially those who hurt us. As Jesus said when asked about how many times we should forgive someone, 7 times 70, or Each and Every time.

Follow Jesus

In the book of Mark chapter 8 Jesus speaking to those following him & the disciples, tells them how to follow him. This lesson is also for us today. Beginning at verse 34: And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, “Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it. For what shall it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”

Joh 1:1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:2  The same was in the beginning with God.
Joh 1:3  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Joh 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
Joh 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
Joh 1:6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
Joh 1:7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
Joh 1:8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
Joh 1:9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
Joh 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
Joh 1:11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
Joh 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Commitment
Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause: Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvelous things without number: And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.

Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did. But Je’sus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men, and needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man. For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him. Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator. For if I do this thing willing, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me. To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour; Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles. For the which cause I suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. Wherefore put away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
Grace, peace and love.

Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman walketh in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for he giveth his beloved sleep.

Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope: Woe to him that buildeth a town with blood, and stablisheth a city by iniquity! Behold, is it not of the LORD of hosts that the people shall labour in the very fire, and the people shall weary themselves for very vanity? For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak. And again the Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

LORD, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am. Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Se’lah. Surely every man walketh in a vain shew: surely they are disquieted in vain: he heapeth up riches, and knoweth not who shall gather them. Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. I hate vain thoughts: but thy law do I love.

Is there not an appointed time to man upon earth? are not his days also like the days of an hireling? As a servant earnestly desireth the shadow, and as an hireling looketh for the reward of his work: So am I made to possess months of vanity, and wearisome nights are appointed to me. Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection? If he cut off, and shut up, or gather together, then who can hinder him? For he knoweth vain men: he seeth wickedness also; will he not then consider it? For vain man would be wise, though man be born like a wild ass’s colt. All nations before him are as nothing; and they are counted to him less than nothing, and vanity.

Vanities

The words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem. Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity. And I gave my heart to seek and search out by wisdom concerning all things that are done under heaven: this sore travail hath God given to the sons of man to be exercised therewith. I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit. That which is crooked cannot be made straight: and that which is wanting cannot be numbered.

My Friend,
Just a Moment Of your time, Please

Hello I would like you to meet my best friend. Let me tell you a little about him, He never puts me down, he always answers when I call him, and I never get the answering machine. He knows just what I need to hear and always has whatever I need to make me feel better. One day I got sick and he took away the pain and disease, with his stripes I was healed. One day for no reason I got mad at him and turned my back and ran away from him. That day he died for me. As I wept for him, the pain was so great because he was gone, I heard him call my name and say

Fear not, for I have overcome this world and I Love you.
My friend’s name is
JESUS.

Do you know that he will do the same for you; all you have to do is ask. Now is the day of salvation. You don’t have to go anywhere just open your heart and ask him to come in. He will because he loves you.

As this world we live in grows darker and more perverse we as Christians have a responsibility to help our brothers & sisters find the truth. The same love we have received from Jesus is for everyone. If all the world sees is us being kind to selected others, then how will they choose the truth over the lie. The Word of God is very clear on this, be the example in action as well as in word, study the word so that is what you can live. Use your natural gifts to bring glory to God so it can draw the hurting masses to him. People Hell is real, and so is judgment, I don’t know about you but I want my example to be a light in this dark world. I want to draw others to my Gracious loving father, to fill his house and empty hell.

Grace is optional, Judgment is NOT!

Let no one despise your youth, but be an example of the believers, in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Until I come, attend to reading, to exhortation, to teaching. Do not neglect the gift in you, which was given you by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the body of elders. Meditate on these things; be in these things in order that your improvement may appear to all. Hold on to yourself and to the doctrine; continue in them, for doing this you shall both save yourself and those who hear you.” (MKJV)

Responsibility
These things command and teach. 1 Tim. 4:11
As a believer I have the responsibility to set the example for all those I come in contact with. It is the practice of my belief that others see, so this needs to be my concern. Paul gives us the pattern as he gave it to Timothy while teaching him. Look at I Timothy 4:11-16, note verse 11 says command, so God commands that we be this way and teach this way.

Forgive me – It’s truly Love.
Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, “I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.”(Mat 18:21-22)
Jesus the Living Word of God thought so much of forgiveness that when the disciples ask to be taught how to pray, forgiving was a major part of the prayer.
“And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.”(Mat 6:12) This line in the Lord’s Prayer teaches us that in order to be forgiven we must first forgive. As we see when continuing in this chapter of Matthew there is a condition to being forgiven and a consequence for not being forgiving. “For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”(Mat 6:14-15)

There is more to consider here, how it affects your prayers! In Mark’s Gospel chapter 11 Jesus tells us “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive [them], and ye shall have [them]. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.” (Mark 11:23-26)

Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.(Luke 17:3-4)
God always confirms his word by two or three witnesses. Here we see the same thought from Matthew and Mark and Luke. There is one last point that is very important concerning the Holy Spirit, denying or speaking against God’s Spirit brings danger, it‘s not forgivable.

“But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:” (Mark 3:29)

Stretch out your hands to the poor according to your strength. Hide not your silver in the earth. Help the faithful man in affliction, and affliction will not find you in the time of your trouble. And every grievous and cruel yoke that come upon you bear all for the sake of the Lord, and thus you will find your reward in the day of judgement. It is good to go morning, midday, and evening into the Lord’s dwelling, for the glory of your creator.

Because every breathing thing glorifies him, and every creature visible and invisible returns him praise.

From Secrets of Enoch!

I have put every man’s work in writing, and none born on earth can remain hidden nor his work remain concealed. I see all things. Now therefore, my children, in patience and meekness spend the number of your days, that you inherit endless life. Endure for the sake of the Lord every wound, every injury, every evil word, and attack. If ill-requitals befall you, return them not either to neighbour or enemy, because the Lord will return them for you and be your avenger on the day of great judgement, that there be no avenging here among men. Whoever of you spends gold or silver for his brother’s sake, he will receive ample treasure in the world to come. Injure not widows nor orphans nor strangers, lest God’s wrath come upon you.

God being who He is, cannot cease to be what He is, and being what He is, He cannot act out of character with Himself. He is at once faithful and immutable, so all His words and acts must be and remain faithful. Men become unfaithful out of desire, fear, weakness, loss of interest, or because of some strong influence from without. Obviously none of these forces can affect God in any way. He is His own reason for all He is and does. He cannot be compelled from without, but ever speaks and acts from within
Himself by His own sovereign will as it pleases Him.

Grace, peace and love to all!

All of God’s acts are consistent with all of His attributes. No attribute contradicts the other, but all harmonize and blend into each other in the infinite abyss of the Godhead. All that God does agrees with all that God is and being and doing are one in Him.
The familiar picture of God as often torn between His justice and His mercy is altogether false to the facts. To think of God as inclining first toward one and then toward another of His attributes is to imagine a God who is unsure of Himself, frustrated and emotionally unstable, which of course is to say that the one of whom we are thinking is not the true God at all but a weak, mental reflection of Him badly out of focus.

Any failure within the divine character would argue imperfection and, since God is perfect, it could not occur. Thus, the attributes explain each other and prove that they are but glimpes the mind enjoys of the absolutely perfect Godhead.
Kerry Felix
In studying any attribute, the essential oneness of all the attributes soon becomes apparent. We see, for instance, that if God is self-existent, He must be also self-sufficient; and if He has power, He, being infinite, must have all power. If He possesses knowledge, His infinitude assures us that He possesses all knowledge. Similarly, His immutability presuppose His faithfulness. If He is unchanging, it follows that He could not be unfaithful, since that would require Him to change.

To have a correct understanding of the attributes it is necessary that we see them all as one. We can think of them separately, but they cannot be separated. “All attributes assigned to God cannot differ in reality, by reason of the perfect simplicity of God,
although we in divers’ ways use of God divers’ words,” says Nicholas of Cusa. “Whence, although we attribute to God sight, hearing, taste, smell, touch, sense, reason and intellect, and so forth, according to the divers’ significations of each word, yet in Him sight is not other than hearing, or tasting, or smelling, or touching, or feeling, or understanding. And so all theology is said to be stablished in a circle, because any one of His attributes is affirmed of another.”
