A prophet is called to expose the evil and warn of coming judgment. Take a look at verse 16 with me. “And I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, who have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, and have worshipped the works of their own hands.” How do you suppose people will react to such a statement? God says in verse 19 “And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the LORD, to deliver thee.”
