Last night was so scary in Ohio. We were right in the pathway last night during the storms and tornadoes. For hours it sounded like a huge freight train was racing down the tracks on my house's roof. The wind and the noise was so loud you wouldn't believe it. Just slightly north from us was massive damage. A small town was completely wiped out with few of the buildings/homes escaping here and there. It's at a lake where people keep vacay homes and boats and trailers and stuff was just flying through the air like boats and trailers, etc. And people who live in towns said the sirens blasting for a couple hours was deafening and animals going crazy with the noise. We were lucky - no touchdown in our direct area but the wind and noise was unreal. Those of you NOT living in this part of the Midwest may never have known what was going on around here. My sister who lives down in lower Indiana right by the Ohio River (part of Tornado Alley) said they got hit really hard as well. But not as bad as here. I thank God for our safety. There are so many people right now in this area that are homeless and devastated losing homes and maybe lives and animals and property. They lost power last night and it won't be on for another week.
