Hi my fellow patriots....I have been busy today...shopped and bought a bunch of new ornaments for my tree...was time for a change...then came home to make, a loaf of banana black walnut bread, 2 loaves of pumpkin pecan bread and pear/cranberry compote to top my norwester pan cookie recipe...the shortbread bottom has hazel nuts and cheese topped with pear compote and finely chopped hazel nuts....much baking going on here next couple months...having guests for thanksgiving dinner too...ordered a free range turkey...yum!
