If you didn't buy fire insurance in the big cities, you had a problem with fires, and the fire department had trouble getting there, or squirting water. I'm sure the upper ranks of the Fire Departments are every bit as political and power hungry as all the other large groups of governmental areas. We don't like to think like that but it's seems as though the really nice and caring, God loving souls no matter what organization......are going to screw everyone over to get to the top and then you have a bunch of evil people running everything just like in the upper limits of any government run operation.
